Intel has shipped a new driver for Windows 10 for GPUs integrated in Intel 6th Gen (Skylake), 7th Gen (Kaby Lake), 8th Gen (Kaby Lake R, Coffee Lake) and Apollo Lake Core processors. This new driver (version 24.20.100.6094) comes with the following new features:

– Overall performance improvement for DirectX* 11 games
– Improved video encoding/decoding in Handbrake*, VLC*, and other similar applications
– Intel is pleased to announce support for PlayReady4* DRM content

Bugfixes

– Graphics anomalies may be observed in Extreme Tux Racer*, SpellForce 3*, Far Cry 5*, and Far Cry Primal*
– Intermittent crashes or hangs may occur in Tom Clancy’s The Division™ (DX12*) and other games

OpenGL support

Intel v6094 is an OpenGL 4.5 driver and exposes the same OpenGL support than v4944 (245 OpenGL extensions).

 

Vulkan support
