A new version of GPU Caps Viewer is available. GPU Caps Viewer is a graphics card / GPU information and monitoring utility that quickly describes the essential capabilities of your GPU including GPU type, amount of VRAM , OpenGL, Vulkan, OpenCL and CUDA API support level.

Release Notes

GPU Caps Viewer 1.46.0 comes with the support of NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 and RTX 3090 (Ampere architecture) and new AMD Radeon RX 5300. GPUs are now sorted by bus ID (this feature is very useful with NVIDIA drivers that, sometimes, decide to reverse the order of GPUs…). Some Vulkan demos (GeeXLab) have been updated to properly work on recent Intel GPUs. And management of high DPI scale has been improved.

thanks for the radeon 3000 Support.
I know it’s an old cad, but I think GPU caps should cover as much cards as possible, for completeness sake.

Wait!!!! This version does not work on Windows 7. It crashes with the error “Cannot find The entry point for procedure GetDpiForWindow on the USER32.DLL Dynamic Link Library”.
(or words to that effect, my windows is in spanish)

Thanks, I will fix this asap. I didn’t check this function and it’s available on Windows 10 1607 only.

          thanks!
          It works now.
althought the “gpu power” field is empty.
the “extra config” field is grayed out, but I suspect that’s because my card is pascal-based.

Yes, for NVIDIA GPUs, the Extra config field displays the number of RT and tensor cores.

So Radeon 550 and Radeon 540 are in support scope?
Duo to GPU blank is empty on these two cards…

I just checked and GPU Caps should support Radeon 540 / 550. But if you have a screenshot of GPU Caps Viewer and the Radeon 550/540, that would help me.

Thank you, I will try to properly support the Radeon 550/540 in the next update of GPU Caps Viewer.

Got it, so it’s because current version do not support Radeon 550/540, right?
And may I know the target schedule for next update?
            Thank you : )

Actually the current version supports Radeon 550/540 but not yours. It’s because AMD has many similar GPUs / cards under the same device ID (0x699F). I just added four graphics cards with devID = 0x699F, I hope your GPUs will be in that batch. Next update is planned shortly.
